| This is a PRN position for Junior or Senior Nursing Students looking for an intern like opportunity in an acute care setting.
This position will work one on one with an assigned RN to provide quality and competent care for an assigned number of patients while learning the role of RN. A student nurse will model professional behavior while demonstrating knowledge, skills and attitude of a safe competent novice nurse intern. This includes the ability to provide patient centered care, teamwork, collaboration, evidence based practice, quality improvements and effective communication.
Qualifications:
Education: Proof of current enrollment in an accredited nursing program as a Senior or Junior. While in the position, proof of continued enrollment no longer than 2 weeks after the end of each semester is required.
Experience: Completed Advanced Med/Surg Course with an accredited Nursing Program
